Review for Muir Heights Apartments

I really like living in these apartments. I was very paranoid about living on my own and the safety issues (since I have two dogs and would be outside at night alot). I feel safe, the other tenants are friendly and the staff is very easy to work with and will help you in whatever way they can. The walls are a little thin, the worst part is having someone's surround sound thump all day and in the middle of the night. I called the office staff and they dug into the issue and resolved it for me. I opted to move into a fully updated unit, it is very nice and cozy. Rent is a bit expensive for the size of the unit (and the additional rent for the two dogs), but was willing to pay extra to be safe and have a nice place. It is also nice to have your own entry way and not have to live in a big apartment complex. My electricity bill without heat/AC is about $35 a month, with the AC it was about $75 - very reasonable! Overall, I really like it here a lot and I would recommend it to others.

What about the tenant with the ankle bracelet? I'm not considering this neighborhood safe... but I'm glad you got your noise issues resolved. I can hear every word of fights between the couple in my building and small children are much louder than any dog barking problems one might expect.
