Make sure that when you leave Nevillewood you are present for the final walkthru...The Nevillewood office doesn't want you present so they can nickel and dime you without having to deal with any confrontation...they will try to create an obstacle for you by only allowing the final walkthru Monday-Friday during 9-5 business hours...and they will only allow 2 walkthru's to be scheduled the same day or so I was told by Marsha Cashdollar the General Manager...so plan on taking part of a day off of work or just forteit your security deposit...my walkthru took less than 10 minutes..now on the other hand if I was a perspective resident coming to look at the model apartment for 10 minutes would I be told sorry only two showing per day and only Monday-Friday?..they are open 7 days a week!!!
I scheduled my walkthru with Marsha Cashdollar one week in advance..She told me she would get her appointment book to pick a time convenient to both of us...we picked together..I asked Marsha do I meet you at the clubhouse or at the apartment?...Marsha said either and that if it was 5 minutes before our scheduled time that she would just go straight to the apartment...So I got to my apartment 20 minutes early...waited..waited...after 10 minutes past my scheduled time and still no Marsha I went down to the clubhouse and was told by Sue that Marsha was off work today!!! and Sue said she would do my walkthru...Sue said she was pretty busy...yeah i saw the young girl with her pamphlets about Nevillewood walking out of the office. So my scheduled time meant nothing...Sue said she would be up in a while...I explained to Sue that I had a job that I had to be at soon and I was scheduled with Marsha at that point over 15 minutes ago..Sue said that she would be up in 5 minutes...it took her longer and my final walkthru started 30 minutes past when it was scheduled. My apartment was immaculate but Sue still tried to nickel and dime me...for example ..my gatecard that I had for 4 years had the numbers worn almost off from use..so the card was damaged by me and needed replaced for $15 bucks because Sue said she would not know the number and therefore could not reprogram the card for somebody else!...I gave throse Nevillewood fools $36,000 in rent over 4 years!!!...I told Sue I didn't even remember the card ever having a number on it but she raised her voice and said that I would never have been issued a gatecard with an unreadable number...then I held the card up to the light and saw some numbers faintly on the card..i read the number to her and she yelled "your paying for it. I cannot read it"...then I said well wouldn't you have a master list that had my name and the card number I was issued. Sue again yelled that I was paying....ohh prior to this...Sue was charging me for a dirty oven...my wife and I had did the self cleaner...cleaned the previous owners dirty crumbs from the broiler that we inherited when we moved in...scrubbed the heck out of the oven top to bottom...replaced the metal tins under the electic burners at our cost..I moved the oven and dusted and washed the floor behind it..I cleaned under the electric tins...then Sue came in and lifted the top up on the range...I didn't know it lifted up!!...there were seriously 2 crumbs under it that I missed...I told Sue that I had a towel in my car and I would clean the two crumbs..but Sue yelled that we were done and it was too late...I was being charged!!!...even after she made me wait 30 minutes for my walkthru I couldn't clean the two crumbs for 15 seconds!!!!..I could say alot more here but I am out of time..I will probably be back to post more about my walkthru...
