I have lived here less than a month and already am counting the months left in my lease. When first looking at the complex I was impressed with the model unit. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and there were great deals on the rent going on. I should have expected a catch. There ended up being too many catches to count. There is a construction crew stationed in various apartments on the property, all look a little on the shady side, drinking all the time, even in the vehicles. Airplanes fly overhead at a very low altitude over and over again. Can't hear the TV or your own conversation when that's happening. There is no place for kids to play since they removed the baseball field and basketball courts in favor of a new building. There are updated appliances throughout my unit, which is nice. The carpets were clean. The unit was freshly painted. However, since they used very cheap very flat wall paint there is no way it can stay fresh. There were no window treatments when I moved in. The office said they were "back-ordered" - no offer of an ETA when they would arrive. This wouldn't be such a big deal except the windows are such an odd size. I ended up having to hang two sets of mini blinds side by side in my bedroom - it was either that or keep hanging a blanket with thumb tacks so I could have some privacy in my parking lot facing room. So far maintenance has been responsive but there are issues they just will not or can not address. My biggest issue is the water pressure, or lack thereof, in the unit. None of the sinks or showers do more than spit out water. Makes for a very difficult time showering. The maintenance guy explained that the only fix would be to dig up the water main to figure out where the problem is. Not likely to happen. The buildings have security doors complete with buzzers. However, the door does not consistently actually shut all the way so typically entry can be gained without a key. All in all this has not been a good experience by any stretch and I recommend to anyone considering moving here to just drive on by and forget this complex exists.
