Review for Laurel Park Apartments

The office staff does nothing to assist in resident problems or in contacting the proper persons to take action on complaints when management and maintenance refuse to correct the problem the first time. You usually have to call the property owner to see anything remotely taken care of, or you must fix it yourself. Typically, it takes two or three times for maintenance to get it right-and they come and go as they please, as well as, the pest control guy who knocks and immediately walks in (giving you no time to reach the door if you are awake in your bedroom a couple feet away). You must constantly call and go by the office to get anything out of management or maintenance-they work at their own leisure and have "silent voting" on what and who they favor and help more quickly and efficiently. No one arrives or stays at the opening and closing of business hours listed, the roads are terrible due to the construction, there are lots of domestic disputes (among many others including drugs and drunk, disorderly conduct that I've witnessed) and the security officer never answers pages, calls, nor responds to the scene (and neither does management or landmark representatives). The gate serves no purpose-it remains open 24/7 and tenants pay extra for that 'security'. Was seemingly a good place to live, but has become otherwise through experience-still have yet to see any corrections to major apartment problems I reported a few years ago....bowing of wall, flooring, and did not "upgrade" during turn-over, prior to my move-in, the kitchen and bathroom tiling/linoleum. Had to pester to have the kitchen done, bathroom remains the same-which they started "upgrading" those items three years ago. Not a place for family, comfortable and quiet living, and NO place for someone with needs-you will never be assisted or helped!
