Review for Chateau Royal Apartments

Please take pics,whn u r done cleaning the apt. and ready to hand over the keys to the manager.I went to give my keys to her,but she was not in her office(during office hrs),so i went next door where she lives.She did not come to the door n asked her husband to take the keys.and i handed it over..MY MISTAKE!!! The manager is suppose to take a walk around the apt. to see if she thinks something is not clean/broken etc.But she told us to leave the keys ,and we left ,thinking since nothings broken,and we cleaned everything,it should be fine. BUT SURPRISE!! Soon we get a letter saying that all of our deposit was used to clean.Which is unbelievable.Even if we hadnt cleaned n left it in mess,it would cost somewhere around $100 to clean 1BDR...but we were chareged $300-$400.Example of the charges i received are $5 for cleaning the door knobs,$5 for cleaning the bulbs...All added to the total of $300-$400.I tried to go n talk to her,but she would not explain how it can add to that amount.I did not have any pets either,no stains on carpets.nothing.

I wish i had taken some pics.So i just wanted to let others know..and make them aware.
