Review for St. Charles Square Apartments

The apartments they show you are NOT the apartments you get! On their website they show all upgraded and new apartments, and when you come to check them out, that's what they show you, but that is NOT what you get! We weren't even allowed to see our apartment until the day we moved in! The shelf under the sink was held up by three boards - not even attached, the cupboard shelves were all warped, there was water damage on the bottom of the bathroom sink and kitchen sink! AFTER we moved in they informed us that there had been a flood and they had to replace the carpets. THEN we found out that they had only died the carpets when we told them there were stains appearing on the carpet - they had used bleach to clean under the carpet, instead of replacing it!

THEN, we had a water pipe burst in our bedroom Friday night and had to pull teeth just to get them to let us use their "hospitality" apartment! They let us stay there Friday night, but basically kicked us on our buts Saturday night because the room had been rented!! Sunday night and Monday night they allowed us to stay in the room again - only because it wasn't rented. Oh, there is so much more to this story, but that is the basics. They did, however, take off the five days from our rent - which totally took me by surprise.

My two cents is pass this place up!!

P.S. If I could give NO STARS for #6 Condition of Unit I would!!
