Review for Hunters Glen Apartments

First off..

I voted 5 stars for parking because everyone is moving out. The property is well maintained. The groundskeeper is awesome at his job, and makes it seem beautiful.

The office staff. PAULA. Leasing agent, who thinks of herself as a gossip column. Stirs up "drama" amongest residents. Gets too much into people's business, and relays it to other people which equals the "drama". New 1st time property manager who still has a lot to learn.

The maintenance rates poorly because they entered my apartment without my consent, without any sort of maintenace emergency. BIG NO NO.

Also, they claim to have a courtesy officer. I haven't seen one walk around for the past month, although the one that used to be here was quite nice and professional. I haven't even SEEN the new courtesy officer, and I spend a lot of time on my porch. I also made a noise complaint a few weeks ago, and when I called the "courtesy officer" they said they would send "someone" to take care of it. They sent the Sandy Springs police, which I could have easily done myself (defeats purpose of having a courtesy officer), and the police took an hour to respond. "Courtesy Officer" happens not to be here most nights, so if you have any compliants, figure out someone to call who cares. Also, the management rents apartments out to a drug rehabilitation center (Mary Hall), which is something I wasn't told up front. Ambulance are called every couple of weeks for people overdosing.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! LOUD, NO SAFETY. WOMAN SHOT IN THE HEAD HERE IN MAY!!

No place is perfect, but unless you enjoy office staff being in you life 24/7 (don't let them fool you.), or a claimed "courtesy officer" (much needed when drug dealers, prositutes, and noisy, loud neighbors, and racists are running the complex). If you love all of these things, you will feel at home!!
