Take My Advice And Do Your Research B4 You Move In

I moved into a 2BR townhouse only about a month and a half ago and I've had more problems here than I had at my previous apartment which I lived at for 2 years. It was pretty to look at and I suppose everything was "fixed" up just long enough for me to sign my lease.
Ok yea, heat and hot water is included but what they fail to mention is that the windows must be improperly insulated because even when you crank the thermostat all the way up to 85, if you're on the 1st floor you still have to put on gloves and hats. And don't even think about sitting next to a window!
The stairs to get to your 2nd floor bedrooms and bathroom are VERY squeaky and may have been here since stairs were first invented.
Now let me get back to my first major issue, I moved in here and decided to do some laundry. First off, the "office manager" (if thats what you even want to call her) never showed me where the laundry facilities were. When we signed the lease she just merely pointed over yonder to where they were which could have been in the middle of the swamp from what I could understand. (yes, some buildings have a lovely swamp view). So I went to the office so she could actually show me where it was. She told me it was "right out my back door". So I go to the door and it was locked. I made my way back to the office, she then gave me a key. Does it surprise you that the key didn't work? I brought it back and she was befuddled about why it didn't work. Did she bother to make her way to see if she could get it to work? ha, thats a negative. She said she would talk to the maintenance guys and get back to me by the end of the day. Did I get a call or anything? NOPE. The next day I make my way back to the office. I get this, "oh i'm sorry it wasn't that door, it was in the next building over and that door is unlocked" Ok great so I ask about getting a laundry card. Supposedly I can buy one straight out of the machine with a debit card. It's a shame she didn't know that theres a special machine to buy the card out of and it's in a totally other building. My boyfriend finally found that machine and got me a card. The "office manager" apparently has no idea about anything at this complex.
A few days after we moved in we noticed a leak above the stove that was causing water to leak out onto our ELECTRIC stove. And uh, water and electricity don't really mix. I made my way to the office again to let the "manager" aware of the leak. "oh i'll take care of it right away" Well right away didn't come soon enough. Christmas day I had just taken the ham out of the oven and was about to boil some potatoes when the stove just shut off and stopped working. Well, you can figure out what could have possibly caused this? If not I'll give you a lil hint (WATER DAMAGE). So we got a brand new stove and all was well. Umm except for the LEAK that wasn't "fixed" until almost 2 weeks later. They solved this problem temporarily by getting some plumbers to install a new bathtub. So saturday night I take a bath in my lovely new tub, go downstairs and realize that my NEW stove is flooded with water and theres water all over the floor. The crack in the ceiling now reaches to about the middle of the kitchen. I call the office at 11:30pm and am forwarded to the emergency line (mind you, this was the only number I was given). I leave a message for emergency maintenance at 11:30 and finally after about an hour the leak stops. I get a VERY RUDE call from the "office manager" at about 1:30am saying that I've used the wrong number to report an emergency problem in the apt. To be quite honest, just like the laundry situation, I think she has no idea how her phone system works either. She doesn't have much of a clue about anything. I suppose she won't be as rude when the ceiling caves in on my head and she gets woken up at 1:30 am to come down and see the damage.
Please take my advice and think twice about moving in here. I was much better off staying where I was. This headache is not worth it.
