Review for Brookstone At The Foothills Apartments

After one year of residing here, it's not as ghetto as it has been rated. There are lots of families and kids. The noise late at different times of the day and night can be annoying (kids screaming and laughing, adults arguing outside, car brakes squeaking and peeling out, people talking loud by your window) depending on your unit location. Parking has always been ample but security gate and patrol could be an issue. My spouse and I both drive pretty nice cars compared to other tenants but we have never had an issue with theft or vandalism. The front entrance gate was broken a couple of times during the year and it didn't seem security was very strict on monitoring. Most pizza places will not deliver here after 7pm.

The overall appearance isnt that great, and hardly much green lawns but theyre always watering their desert plants.

Several times I saw trash and litter in the common walk ways and recreational areas. We found a couple of bugs here and there (probably from the tenant below us) but did not experience an infestation problem. The price for rent is probably a little bit high for what you'd expect.
because they remodeled, the interior features are better looking than what you'd expect based on on the exterior.

The complex is pet friendly but you do not enough space to walk and enjoy with your pet unless you don't mind driving half a mile away to the nearest park.

Management is okay and usually gets work orders done on time. Only maybe one time was the water shut off without prior notice, for an entire afternoon/evening.

Overall, our experience was so-so and i have no major complaints. I wouldn't recommend living here if you're single, enjoy peace and quiet, or don't like loud children playing in the pools. Hope this helps.
