Review for Pillar At Rock Canyon Apartments

I was living here for a year, recently moved out, and I've never had a problem with the community or staff. I felt safe, was able to walk my dog at night - never truly had an issue. Parking isn't all the best; you do have your covered parking space and there are garages available. However, if you had visitors they would have to park up front along the fence, because there wouldn't be much parking in the back. Again, it's not really an issue for me. The office staff I thought was very friendly. Always courteous, asked if there were any troubles with the apartment which no there weren't. I've never had a maintenance issue. Everytime I called, they would be there to fix it and it would be a job well done - again, to me! Noise, depends on your neighbors. I lived in the back end of the complex,and my neighbors were fine. Before I moved out though, there were people starting to move in that were a bit roudy - during weekends only though. When I received my apartment, the carpet was worn, few stains in it, honeslty it's very understandable. I mean, not everyone can get new carpet when they move in. And it's not the property's fault on how other people live there and take care of it. That's why there are deposits, and they try to do the best they can to make it better or make it work. I loved living here, I thought it was a good price for what was around the area: mall, tons of restaurants, grocery, easy freeway access, target, etc... If it weren't for my dog, who was a puppy when we first got him, I'm sure I would have gotten a portion of my deposit back. Unfortunetly he was a chewer and we had no kennel at first. The only reason why we moved out, was to try and save money because we are expecting... so we moved to another property which I work at and therefore get a discount on. I would have prefered to stay and even considered upgrading. Again, finances and baby are first for the moment. I would recomend this property to anyone and everyone. Oh yeah, the only downfall is that it's a Quest only property and I don't like them too much.
